#1 We Are Young

I know, the first top nine were all rap, dubstep, but i always have a soft spot for amazing love songs. Sometimes it's like ice cream, you can forget it exists, but when u have it, your just on cloud 9 loving every second. We are Young really represents how kids feel, that even though we really don't make to much of a difference, we set the world on fire and can make everything better with just being there. To me this is motivational stuff. When we actually try to make the world better, I believe we can.
Lots of people don't like songs that are overplayed, and the only way to stop that is stop listening to the radio. Sometimes if i get a cd ill jam to that for a while, and this just so happens to be on 2 of my 3 cds. I freckin love listening to them on a bad day or not! Dolphins. Lots of people are starting to hate on this band but i love them to death. They are (in my opinion) awesome in every way. I hope that you enjoyed my selection of songs. :D have a nice day.

#2 Fast Lane- Bad Meets Evil

The first verse of this song is by Royce, and you know that it's already dope. Out of the two Royce is the less popular, less faster, and less loved of he duo Bad Meets Evil. The other person in the duo is the one who made them very popular. Eminem. Deserves a sentence alone. Even his slow raps are quicker than most everybody elses. When he raps, he raps fast and quick, and then he rapes your mind every second it takes for his lyrics to actually sink in. But somehow Royce is a good backup. It's like D12 (except Proof) all wrapped into one person. But the best part is the end after "You don't f***ing give me head then imma have to take it."
Although this is not exactly PG-13 music, it is still awesome. It's got a good beat, and although it's not a dancing song, it is very good in it's own little way. It has god and a black dude all in one music video, how could you ever get better than that? Dolphins. I love this music video so much, that it really is motivational... I hope your psyched for next weeks. I'm going to get out of hip hop for the number one song.

#3 Varien - The Alchemist's Nightmare.

You have to love the wobbles. I swear every week they come out with something better than last week. And by they I mean MonsterCatMedia. I am slightly cheating on the assignment having the same channel have all of the best of kind of hits. They do help simplify the process of finding song after song just to find one that will be on the next blog hit. Well anyway, Varien has had a few songs in other categories (EDM, Trance, Dance, and a couple other songs in the dubstep part) A lot of things have changed in the history of music that i think dubstep has helped push on. Like a few radio stations are now starting to convert a little bit of their radio time to dubstep (basically every remix now is a little bit of music and then a lot of wubs). I really don't know where I'm going with this review. All I can say is that my grammar is good from spell check and I have a giant headache... I hope you can understand Mr.... I'm not going to say your name on the computer.
Well I hope you really do enjoy this song. 9 out of 10 doctors agree that dubstep helps you live forever (I never asked one doctor) I hope you really did enjoy this song and that you can hopefully someday live long and prosper. This last paragraphs a joke. If you haven't noticed, I haven't asked one doctor means I really didn't ask any doctors and the live long and prosper is a really old joke about... well if you don't know then you should go on youtube and search it. You will watch some really good American history.

#4 Pegboard Nerds- Gunpoint

This is dubstep. The transitions, the wobbles, the bass, and even some acapellas, all part of the genre. This is one of the newer artists on MonsterCatMedia, but is starting to become a favorite. although there is only one song on MonsterCatMedia they are really good artists. I haven't really researched any of their music, but I almost like the song enough to go and research them. This type of music really is my favorite because the bass at times blows you away, but it doesn't always have to be 100% bass. And the best part of this type of music is that it has no one annoying you with their voice. It really is becoming a great type of music that really rocks your core. You can find either dance or trance or dubstep or ear exploding or brostep or any kind of music you truly want. It is really quite amazing all the different types of music you can find now on the internet.
The best things about these songs are that they really do make you want to get up with a buddy and dance or rave or whatever you do. A major joke on youtube is "Watch the people under the blanket go!" or "Wow... that is some hardcore/funky..." um yea you know where I'm going. But that is what dubstep is really closely related with because it helps people get interested (kind of sick and weird, but it does help make underground movements more popular and mainstreamish). Well I hope you enjoyed the song. Buh bye!

#5 "Dance"(not really) by Big Sean

This song is like an instant classic, started the whole repeat a word and call it music. Although at the time, it was an original idea (until Rhianna literally stole the idea with a cake, did not turn out well) to repeat one word that you could base a song around (original-ish). And the song was a killer, until it was tainted by Nikki Minaj (taking out the best part and replacing with her rendition of yelling profanity and a long eeeeee noise for about 1 minute) which truly was the downfall of the song. Plus he didn't even get all the profits because Nikki Minaj remixed it so she got some, which sucks because she was like this songs Rebbecca Black (just annoying and should get out of song writing).
Anyway, back to this song. It may be repetitive, but it represents the club life, and its gangsta-ness about it. It's an awesome song, and people just love it so much, but that's just because it is really easy to sing along to. It is really fun to dance in the car to a song that you love, like Party Rock but more current. It's also has some music featuring MC Hammer's "You can't touch this." Well, I hope you enjoy the song.

#6 Tyga- Rack City

Mild Profanity/Inappropriate Refrences (lol)

This song is raunchy, radical, and a little bit on the crazy side. Based inside a club it is about Tyga having a good time "looking" at a girl and hanging with his homies. Can't say too many things that are appropriate about this song, but this is a really good song. It has a lot of backround dancers, a lot of money and drinks going around, and if it wasn't for it being in a strip club it could probably be an Usher song. I'm am not being serious at all about that.
Obviously this isn't the clean version, but those versions aren't better. They tell you he grew up in a bad city, and gives the song a backround theme, which is good for some artists, but not really so much this one. He is more the artist that is like a ghetto LMFAO, who party everyday, but... they party by shuffling. If you look into him he is kind of a shallow rapper, but he is fun to listen to when your bored. He is starting to move up in the rapping world, he now has had appearences with a lot of big artists, like Drake and Chris Brown, and he actually shows Chris Brown up by being (this is opinionated) better than him. In the song Snapbacks Back, he really does go faster than Chris Brown, which is weird because he is usually pretty fast and serious with his music.

#7 Eminem: '97 Bonnie And Clyde

Eminem, one of the greatest rappers ever. The song starts off with sounds of him messing with his car, putting his wife in his car and closing the door (the song is pretend, his imagination, don't take it literally). Now this is all back when he was pissed at his ex-wife for taking his money and trying to take his daughter away. These are two things you don't mess around with when your talking to Eminem. So he made a love/hate song, love for his daughter and hate for her mother. When he's talking to his little girl Haley about not playing with his knife, and playing on the beach. He gives hints to people who are a little older that he is "getting rid" of his wife. He says stuff that it would be "just the two of us" and he tries to make it sound like there just having fun the whole time and that he's not covering up for the murder of his wife.
These kind of songs, even though they sound horrible and stuff were the things that kept him from killing himself and others. Eminem has never killed anyone, and although he has OD a few times, he is still alive because he's had some way to express himself, which just happened to be through his music. This is the end part of his hate Kim songs, he stopped expressing his hate for Kim just because of lawsuits and his daughters were getting old enough to actually know what the songs were about. Another song that expresses his relative hate for Kim is the actual song Kim, but that's a lot more violent, where he actually has the killing of his wife in the song, which is definitely not school appropriate. But if you look at all of his other songs anytime he mentions a girl it's either a whore or it is very close to a lady like Kim.

#8 I'm Sexy and I Know It

WARNING: TO EPIC FOR YOUTUBE
The best party song in the world, featuring Red Foo from LMFAO rocking his natural swag like an ultimate boss (normal in his life) but abnormally in a speedo. The epicness is so much that depicting it may be a little hard, but I'm going to try to put it into words. This music will turn on your ears so much that every time you take a step it will be almost impossible not to shuffle. And there is also a lot of sexual comedy in this song. For example, when he takes his pants and the other takes off their pants and they have a speedo wiggling contest, it is quite comedic. This is one of those perfect in the car and someone is on the roof with their pants off (no homo) Screaming I'm sexy and I know it while slightly doing donuts in ALPS (only like 3 mph, but still epic) Basically, this song makes you want to take your girl and make her feel your muscles while drinking a protein drink just so you look that much cooler.

#9 Widdler- Lost in Space

*.*Warning: Bass Junkies Only*.*

Starts with" noise that will mak a nice slow random noises, then transitions into a slow "wubbinge sweet slow love to your ears. And to me, this is putting it not only nicely, but as close as i can get it to PG-13 as i can. Please adhere to the warnings, if you don't like this kind of music, don't try to listen, you will die from the sheer epicness. Although there is no music video to this (and usually there are no music videos to this kind of music) it is still really good. The only great thing about this kind of music being so undiscovered is that the underground version of music has much better drops then most of the mass produced music that UFK Dub step makes. So in short, this song is my type of music, epic.

#10 Party Rock Anthem

WARNING*.Songs May Be Inappropriate.*WARNING

This song is amazing, straight up, and anyone who disagrees needs to start liking better music. Although it does get annoying hearing it twenty times a day, this is definitely one of the songs i can hear and instantaneously cheer up no matter how bad the day was. They also made a killer video (above) that both makes fun of the movie "28 days later" and shows some awesome talent as dancers. The dance that they stick to is called the Melbourne shuffle, and the stuff other people do... well i don't know, just being epic dancers. Some things that pop up in almost all their videos is drinking references, the Box head robot, the same guy with a "hi mom" shirt, and partying. Some of the things i do have to say are bad for this song is that it is kinda old and over played, the girl in the music video (where everyone else is either dancing good or epically) is just bobbing and putting her hands up occasionally, and it isn't that great of a song without the music video. This is why this song is #10 on my top ten songs list. Next weeks song will have vampires, jesus, and zombies, have a nice week!
